The part of the Moto Clan not directly affiliated to the Unicorn Clan is a group of nomads, originally ethnic Ujik-hai. Their main base is an oasis in the Burning Sands, somewhere between the Unicorn lands and the city of Medinaat al-Salaam. It is simply called the Moto Oasis. It was attacked by the Senpet during the reign of Caliph Hanan and the wells were poisoned. Their strength has been rebuildt since then and they are visited again from time to time by the Ra'Shari. ^{[citation needed]}
