Moshi Mariko was a magistrate of the Mantis Clan.
Death[]
Mariko pursued a Maho-tsukai into the mountains, where they fought. The bloodspeaker overcame and defeated her, and took her place with some foul ritual, returned and lived among the family of Mariko for many years. [1]
Snow Maiden[]
Mariko died in the mountains, in the middle of a snowstorm, an she became a Snow Maiden. Many years later she met a descendant of her family, Moshi Hinome, who had been tainted ib the Rain of Blood, died in another snowstorm, and also became a Yuki no Onna. Mariko aided Hinome to endure her taint. The soul of hinome was not lost to jigoku. [1]
