Moshi Daimyo Edit
Winter Court - 1171 Edit
In 1171 Awako attended Imperial winter court at Kyuden Gotei. She won the Sumai contest. Awako was present in the Imperial wedding between the Empress Iweko I and Akodo Setai at the Temple of Jade Sun.
Destroyer War Edit
In 1173 during the Destroyer War Awako was within Kyuden Ashinagabachi. When the Battle of Kyuden Ashinagabachi began the Tsuruchi archers fired thicker arrows which were magically propelled by Moshi Shugenja, and with their superior force penetrated the Destroyers shells. Awako and her acolytes called the thunder and lightning stroke the specially prepared arrows and leaping from one of the Destroyers to another. This tactic had been devised between Awako and the lord of the castle, Tsuruchi Nobumoto, but he was not present at the battle to see their effects.
Siege of Kyuden Ashinagabachi Edit
The castle was sieged and during weeks and the fight went forth and back. Awako summoned again the power of the Thunder, and the Dragon of Thunder himself aided the besieged. The Mantis won the battle shortly before the end of the war.
Long range communication Edit
Awako was advised the Phoenix had performed a ritual that allowed long range communication, to even contact Moshi priestess in the far Ruined Kingdoms. The Mantis began to plot how to coerce the Phoenix to share this knwoledge.
Kitsuki Daisuke's uncle had killed an Otomo in an unauthorized duel. The dead had been an arrogant, tyrannical fool, who deliberately provoked others into confrontations so he could kill them, and he used his status and his political connections with the Crane to avoid the consequences of his actions. Awako informed the prisoner that the Empress Iweko I herself had commuted his sentence to seppuku.
