Miya Satoshi was the son of Miya Satoshi, a Miya Daimyo reviled by his own family after original Satoshi maddened under the thrall of the Kenshin's Helm. His son was similar to his father, and took his name after his gempukku. He became a hero in the War Against Shadow and was granted his own Vassal family, the Satoshi family. Satoshi wished the name to be reckoned as an honorable one. Their duty was to defend the Miya lands. [1]
