Miya Nishio

Miya Nishio

Miya Nishio was a courtier and Miya Shisha of the Imperial Families.

Station Edit

In 1169 after the Battle of Toshi Ranbo Nishio was called to the Imperial City, controlled by the Shiba Army. Miya Toburo, an elder of the Miya appointed Nishio to her first station, after one week more of training. It was unexpected, being Nishio a brash and eager student, with not enough experience to such task. Toburo told her a Miya building was destroyed during the battle and several Heralds had died, so new ranks had to be stepped in. [1]

The Plague War Edit

Her Lord Seppun Katsura pondered his concerns with Nishio. The empire was ravaged by war, in the north and south, fighting in the heart of the Empire as undead appeared at random in poorly defended targets, cultural famine among many of the clans, literal famine among others, and prominent Rokugani members as the Emerald Champion and the Imperial Treasurer had an odd behaviour. Nishio's yojimbo, Seppun Tanizaki, stepped into the conversation, assuring he knew who could help the Imperial Families in demonstrating their power and reach. [2]

Destroyer War Edit

Kaiu Wall breached Edit

In 1172 during the Destroyer War Nishio was ushered by Seppun Tanizaki to the tertiary office of the minister of military affairs at Toshi Ranbo. There Otomo Ishihama took the report regarding the disastrous Destroyer War in the southern front. Tanizaki highlighted the loss of lifes and their effects in the future years of the Empire. [3]

Akodo Hiroshi Edit

Later this year Nishio accompanied a scout force under the command of Akodo Hiroshi. [4]

Colonies Edit

In 1198 her friend Miya Shoin as his last act as Miya Daimyo sent Nishio to the Colonies, to stand beside the new Imperial Governor of the Colonies Otomo Suikihime. Nishio promised she would stand by the side of Shoin's son and heir so long as he wished it. [5]
