Daigotsu Masahiko was a bushi of the Spider Clan.

Daigotsu Masahiko ran the Steel Strand Dojo in Zakyo Toshi in 1170 as Masahiko, training ashigaru and ronin and looking for worthy recruits for the Spider. Her ally in the city, Daigotsu Hirata, discovered a Scorpion spy, Shosuro Masanobi, and killed her. This drew the attention of the Scorpion Clan, who sent more people to investigate. Masahiko was attempting to recruit a ronin, Ieyasu, in the Month of the Tiger when Hirata discovered a Scorpion ninja spying on them. Hirata and the ninja killed each other while Ieyasu, who turned out to be Bayushi Eisaku, killed Masahiko. Hirata and Masahiko's bodies were burned by Eisaku, to cover up the fact they were tainted.
