Maneki Neko Sake was a sake blend produced at Maneki Neko Brewery. [1] It was a shizuka type of sake. [2]

An obscure brew for many centuries, at the end of the 12th century it was popularized by a Toji named Asahina Konomi, who refined the brewery's processes to create a purer, stronger brew. After the Destroyer War, it came to be considered to be one of the best sake brews in the Empire, becoming a favorite of many daimyo and dignitaries, including the Crane Clan Champion. [3]
