The Kuwaga trees were a type of pine, and was the largest of Rokugani trees. They shed their sharp blue needles twice a year, and during this time the forest floor was dangerous trespass for anyone with unprotected soles. Isawa's Fire was made with the resin of the tree's needles, a substance which produced fire which could not be quenched with water. [1]
