Kuni Aya was a Kuni Witch Hunter of the Crab Clan.
Demeanor and Appearance[]
Aya was a very intense and somewhat angry hard-faced young woman who wore his hair in a tight foxtail. Her face displayed the kabuki makeup of her family, as well as a prominent jade pendant, the badge of a Witch Hunter's office. [1]
Station[]
Aya was assigned at Kosaten Shiro, and she used to visit the inn Golden Crane when Ayas was off-duty. She was convinced that the unrest which happened in the Kosaten province was due to a maho cult. In ancient times the peasants offered a small ritual blood sacrifice to appease the kami and ensured a good harvest, and it remained as a local superstition. Aya needed to persuade the governor Daidoji Sokazaka to take action on an impending peasant revolt. [1]
