Koujou was a modest-sized village in the eastern part of the Naishou province, whose people were descended from the Takanobu tribe. It was situated where a stream crossed the road, and controlling a small bridge and a waterwheel-powered mill. [1] The village also boasted a single inn/teahouse. [2]
Bloodspeaker Cell[]
A Bloodspeaker cell led by the monk Asai met periodically in the village's mill. They were exposed by a group of samurai visitors who investigated their crimes. [3]
