This school was a small branch of the Fox Clan which received little support due to the Kitsune family's lack of resources. [2]
Despite this, those few who did attend this school learn to appreciate the beauty in their surroundings, and left their marks upon them in very delicate ways. Some of the most unique aspects of the Kitsune Artisans were their capacity to perform their arts with minimal damage to the original materials. Living sculptures were sometimes created from tree-trunks that continue to grow, while others were carved from boulders that remained in place. [2]
With the incorporation of the Kitsune into the Mantis Clan a greater demand for these permanent, traditional forms of art arose. Removal of previously created artwork for the betterment of the Clan caused some discomfort among the artisans, but the strange nature of their craft had become an instant sensation in more than a few courts including Broken Wave City.
