Kitsu Osuji was a Kitsu Sodan Senzo, and as most of his clansmates he was taught to respect his elders and worship the dead. After his gempukku it was discovered he could hear his ancestors, and he was immediately enrolled in the Sodan Senzo school. [1]
Imperial Fascination[]
Osuji was fascinated by the Imperial Line and studied their lineage. After he graduated he earned a position at Otosan Uchi under his sensei Kitsu Tobuse, as an advisor to the Emperor's family. Osuji communed regularly with the Imperial spirits. [1] He lived in the Juramashi district. [2]
Marriage[]
Osuji wed with Tobuse's daughter, Kitsu Ineko, a much younger maiden. When Tobuse passed away his wife was devastated. [1]
Haunted[]
Since the Imperial Heir Hantei Sotorii was born, the Imperial pirits became reckless, their voices told of sorrow and fear. They claimed the boy will end the Hantei Dynasty, and he would mark the doom of the Empire itself. These omens haunted Ineko, who doubted what he had to do. [1]
