Karada city 2

Karada district

The Karada district was one of the four inner districts of the Ekohikei at Otosan Uchi. [1] It contained the Trading Grounds, largely Yasuki run although tortoise were often seen here too. Also located in this area was the Crab embassy, the Imperial Museum of Antiquities, and the Forbidden City's sewer system. The Western Enchanted Wall in this area was managed by the Kuni family. [2] A small section housed the eta who worked as Shiji Suro, carting away the deceased and keeping the buildings clean. [3]

Borders

The Enchanted Wall bordered the district to the west, the Forbidden City lied to the east, the River of the Sun flowed along its northern edge, and the Oni's Smile to the south. [4]

Scorpion Coup

The Karada District was largely untouched by the attacking forces during the Scorpion Coup. [5]

Fall of Otosan Uchi

In 1159 the Imperial City suffered the assault of Daigotsu's forces, and later was put to the torch by the Lion Clan. The sudden presence of so much corruption did weaken it to the point where it allowed many of the trapped beings to escape. Many remained trapped in the Western Wall to this day. [6]
