Kami Watch Over Me

The Kami Watch Over Me was a Mastery 4 air spell, the invention of an 8th century Isawa Shugenja, Isawa Toyama, who was infamous for his unconventional views on what constituted 'usefulness' for a spell.^[1] It allowed the shugenja to instruct the kami to aid one of his allies at the caster's direction, casting a second spell which would resolve at a later time on the ally. ^[2]
