Kakita Ryo was a suitor of Asahina family daimyo, Asahina Anzai. When Agasha Kyoso was arranged to be married to Anzai, she used her political connections to publicly humiliate Kyoso and force Anzai to pick between the two. She and Anzai were married and Kyoso summoned Kyoso no Oni, who went on a rampage through Crane lands, killing both Ryo and Anzai. [1]
