Kakita Kumiyuzu was the sensei of the Kakita Jester School under the rule of Doji Kurohito.
Demeanor[]
Kumiyuzu was a cranky, dyspeptic old man who began his career as a Jester in the courts of Doji Kuwanan. His tongue was exceptionally barbed, who brought more than one dishonorabie guest to a state of incoherent rage. [1]
Sensei[]
Kumiyuzu cultivated personal friendships with Kakita Kaiten and later, Doji Kurohito. The Crane Clan Champion offered him a post as a sensei to remove him from Kyuden Doji's courts, which had begun to be visited by many Lion samurai, and his jokes would eventually lead into a diplomatic disaster. As teacher he seemed to take pleasure in making his students as miserable as possible, apparentiy on the theory that their bitterness would make them better Jesters. [1]
