Kaiu Tojikana
Kaiu Tojikana was a bushi and tactician Kaiu Siege Master of the Crab Clan. He worked in the construction of the Scorpion Wall. [1]
Colonies[]
Warring in the Colonies had been sanctioned by the Emerald Champion, so the Crab began to attack the Spider holdings. Hiruma Nikaru led the force which destroyed a well-defended Spider outpost in the southwestern Colonies in 1199. They questioned the survivors, but the Spider had no information about the Dark Naga. A recently arrived Kaiu Tojikana disliked to destroy another Great Clan's holdings without a valid reason. He did not see Nikaru as a fierce, but honorable warrior who was true in his conviction to finding the Dark Naga and the missing lord Hida Fubatsu, but something else. [2]
At Shibatsu's Service[]
Tojikana was karo to Hiruma Nikaru, who in 1199 had fallen to P'an Ku's madness as the Flesh Eeater. He removed himself when it became clear his commander's mind was not his own. The Kuni Daimyo Kuni Renyu sent him to the Empress' elder son, Iweko Shibatsu as punishment for his failure to properly report Nikaru's shift in behavior. [3]
