Iuchiban's Theft was a maho spell which removed selected skills or knowledge on the target, and they were gained temporarily by the Maho-tsukai or a third party. The spell consumed a large amount of obsidian and the process was painful for the target and recipient, requiring concentration and deftness. A necromancer could perform it over any spirits, oni, or any dead humanoid creature. [1]
