Iuchi Wodan was a mapmaker and the leader of the Unicorn delegation sent to the Eternal Danger Islands. This archipelago was south of the Crane lands, and it was no safe way to reach it until a massive earthen bridge rose from the ocean, connecting the island named Hantei's Point to mainland Rokugan. A large force of Shinjo Scouts under his command built reliable, accurate maps of the islands which was under the rule of the Imperial administrator Miya Onako. [1] His student Moto Kesshite accompanied him to the archipelago. Wodan spent most of his time making maps from the scouting reports of the Unicorn, Mantis, and Crab samurai exploring the islands.
