Itode Grove

From L5r: Legend of the Five Rings

The Itode Grove holds the ancient oaks in Nanashi Mura that the Dragon Clan forbid the ronin from removing. The grove has no special importance but is a nuisance to the citizens. They serve as a test of the ronin's loyalty and resolve. During the time after the Scorpion Coup many Scorpion Clan ronin hid in the grove calculating the city's possibile worth to a fallen clan.
