Isawa Ujikki was the Master who, with the help of Kakita, developed the rules for Taryu-Jiai, the dueling procedure for shugenja. Of which element he was the Master was uncertain. Having been a Master in the 1st century, he might have been one of Isawa's siblings. [1]
