Isawa Rohitsu was an earth shugenja of the Phoenix Clan in the 12th century.
The Lair[]
Rohitsu with his yojimbo Shiba Hojotsu was scouring the Twilight Mountains for some kind of powerful Earth kami. Instead, he found the remnants of a lost Minor Clan, the Boar. The remote valley known as the Lair had been cut off from the Emerald Empire since the early 6th century, and those who stumbled across it were forced to remain there forever as unwilling guests. Rohitsu carefully documented the place, helping its inhabitants until he realized the Boar never would permit him to leave the Lair. He constantly stated his disapproval at his current situation. [1]
