Isawa Kinto was a shugenja and Maho-tsukai of the Phoenix Clan.
Maho-tsukai[]
Kinto was a minor maho-tsukai. He procured one of the Four Masks of Iuchiban, and planned on delivering it to his master's forces in the Shadowlands. [1]
Death[]
In 1120 he moved to the provinces of the Crab supposedly to study the spiritual harmonies there. The mask was stolen by his apprentice, the eta called Mikato. Yajinden, in the guise of an Emerald Magistrate, Meishozo Nisei, had heard about the mask, so he tracked Kinto down and brutally killed him near Kami no Okasan when knew he had not the Mask. [1]
