Please note: This article is about the play. For other uses of the term, please see Iron Blossom (disambiguation).

Iron Blossom was written in 1200 by Yasuki Keirohime, her second play. The title was chosen after the nickname used by Keirohime to refer to the Princess Iweko Miaka, and it depicted the unsettling events that happened in the Imperial Winter Court in 1199. During the Devil Chase Seppun Asagako, Miaka's yojimbo, was revealed as an oni. [1]
