Imaishi was a ronin air shugenja who earned an oath of fealty to the Phoenix Clan.

Ronin

Imaishi was a gifted shugenja. He was given the opportunity to prove his worth to the Phoenix Clan. In 1172 during the Destroyer War he was alongside a Phoenix shugenja group escorted by the yojimbo Shiba Yukihito.

Phoenix

Eventually Imaishi was accepted in the Phoenix Clan.
