Titles: Ikoma Daimyo

Ikoma Shabiko was a historian of the early 9th century. He was Ikoma Daimyo during the Return of the Ki-Rin. Shabiko wrote a text after the Unicorn had been accepted into the Emperor's court. Originally intended to sway the Emperor's favor from the newcomers, it became one of the foremost texts on the Unicorn's initial return. [1] His lord was Akodo Ikasu. [2]

Imperial Histories 2 page 161 refers to Shabiko as Shabiku. This could be either a spelling mistake, or a deliberate retcon to avoid the confusing -ko ending to a male name.
