Parents: Un-named Ikoma Bards

Ikoma Kazue was an Ikoma Bard of the Lion Clan.

Renowned Bard Edit

Kazue's parents were gifted in the arts of storytelling and oratory, skills she inherited and trained in the Ikoma Bard school. Her studies began to take her from province to province in the Lion lands. As Kazue matured, her reputation spread, and she was invited to three Imperial winter courts. Some even suggested Kazue would become the Ikoma Daimyo's heir. [1]

Uninspired Storyteller Edit

One day, Kazue realized her works all felt the same, she had lost the inspiration once made her famous. Kazue requested to undertake an artist's pilgrimage, and went to Kyuden Kurogane-Hana, vanishing from public eye. She expected to discover if her art had abandoned her completely. Several students of the Ikoma school came to learn from Kazue, and she eventually agreed to take three students at a time. [2] There she met Suzume Hin. Kazue was appointed to make an inspired speech about a newcomer, the ronin Hisao, a swordsman of almost unparalleled skill. [3]
