Ikoma Igawa

Ikoma Igawa

Ikoma Igawa was a courtier of the Lion Clan.

Imperial Court Edit

A mysterious statuary appeared in the Imperial Court. It was clearly made by a Crab anonymous artisan. The piece of stone depicted despair and anger, joy and sorrow and even love. It raised the spirits of those who saw it in such dreadful time during the Destroyer War. Igawa felt the statue was left there to be seen by him. [1]

Dishonored Edit

In 1172 Igawa manipulated events in an attempt to procure additional supplies for the Lion war effort at the cost of impugning the Crane Clan's honor. He surfaced allegations of dishonorable actions by the Crane in terms of mercantile arrangements with the Lion Clan. When exposed by the Lioness Legion's commanded Matsu Kenji, Igawa was shamed. [2]

Ikoma Yasuko Edit

After the incident Igawa became an assistant of Ikoma Yasuko, a former Scorpion courtier, who could manage with Igawa's dark view on politics. [3]

Shadow Court Edit

After the gaijin ruhmalist attack to the Empress in the opening of the winter court in 1172, the Emerald Champion Shosuro Jimen cancelled it. The Crane Clan Champion Doji Domotai invited the Clans to conduct the so-called Shadow Court in the Embassy of the Crane. Yasuko ordered Igawa to write a polite refusal to a similar offer made by Shosuro Mizuno. [3]
