Ikoma Hatsute was an Ikoma Historian who lived during the rule of Hantei Fujiwa. He studied the kanji discovered in a cave near the Shrine of Osano-Wo during the Celebration of Iris Flowers. They depicted serpent-like creatures, related with Lady Sun. Similar information had been found in scrolls written under the reign of previous Emperors, so Hatsute came to Asako Fujiyari to clarify if this unknown race of green skin ever existed. [1]
