Akodo Denurai joined the Ikoma family as Ikoma Denurai after the Akodo family was disbanded in the aftermath of the Scorpion Coup. He continued to serve his clan, and in 1127 he was under the command of the Lion Clan Champion Matsu Tsuko. As the forward scout assigned to watch the southern shores of the Golden Sun Bay, he was the first to see the invaders during Kisada's Blockade. [1]
