Ikeda Toshi
Ikeda Toshi was a city named after Matsu Ikeda, founder of the Ikeda family. The peasants were infamous for their sheltered nature, as very few of them ever left the isolated city. The open plains around the city served as training grounds for the Ikeda bushi, and were flat and barren. The citizens recognized every face they encountered, leading to an exceptionally low crime rate, as every one looked out for everyone else. Samurai of Ikeda City were rarely cruel or even dismissive towards heimin or hinin, and they preferred to avoid eta. [1]
