Ichibukin, more commonly known as Bu, were small silver coins used for commerce in Rokugan. Five bu were equal to one koku, while one bu could be broken down into twenty copper zeni. One ichibukin could purchase one bushel of rice, as five bushels were considered to be worth one koku.
