Horiuchi Yoko was a water shugenja of the Unicorn Clan.
Phoenix lands[]
In 1170 during a ritual performed by Yoko in a waterfall near the Morikage Forest a group of wicked spirits appeared and threatened her life. They did not disappeared when she used the kami nor with the Meishodo trinket she wore. The Master of Water Asako Bairei saw the scene and banished the foul spirits. In return Yoko would help Bairei using his meishodo knowledge. [1] The nature of the mission was unknown.
Celestial Tournament[]
Just prior to the Celestial Tournament, Yoko was contacted by Iuchi himself. Iuchi advised Yoko of the Tournament and Yoko presented the information to the Unicorn Clan Champion Moto Chen. [2]
Death[]
Yoko died before the end of the Destroyer War. [3]
