Honoka was the okaa-san of the Gilded Cage, a geisha house in Kudo Mura controlled by the local gang lord, Yoshitaka. The old woman had a hunched back, and she verged on cruelty when teaching the young miko their trade, who used to become some of the best-trained geisha outside of the Crane or Scorpion lands. Honoka was also fiercely protective of her charges. [1]
