Hiruma Mashiroisho was a bushi of the crab Clan.
Betrothed[]
Mashiroisho was betrothed to Kaiu Kako, daughter of the Kaiu Daimyo. When his bride did not arrive on time for the wedding, he sought Kako, and found her killed by minions of the Shadowlands. Beside the corpse was a massive tetsubo, which had been crafted by Kako as her wedding gift for her groom-to-be. During five days Mashiroisho used it in the Shadowlands to take revenge. [1]

Mashiroisho married and passed to his son the tetsubo, which would be known as Strikes with Thunder. [1]
