Highway's End was one of the three sections of Nanashi Mura. This was the home of the true ronin or those tossed out of Bushi Row or Broken Wing. Most would find their future on the front lines of war and then to an unmarked grave. [1] The locals had an expression that Highway’s End was dark even at noon on a summer day. [2]
