Hida Dokumaru was a bushi of the Crab Clan.

Dokumaru was the commander of a waystation in the Colonies, and an inveterate gambler who got deeply into debt. Doji Chonitsu became his benefactor, and retrieved him from such troubles. Dokumaru returned the favor overlooking the smuggling performed by Chonitsu's associates, toward the Vindhyas Mountains. [1]
