Hida Akeno was a bushi of the Crab Clan.
Childhood[]
Akeno's mother was Hida Yukari. In 1160, when he was still a child, Akeno was betrothed to Doji Jun, chosen as part of a treaty. The Second Yasuki War was over and marriages were made to seal the truce. [1]
Demeanor[]
Akeno was child with skills for fighting, but words had always been his enemy. [1]
Jun's death and secret[]
Akeno married, had a son, become a gunso. His wife became ill, and when she was dying, Jun told her secret. She was a kitsune spirit who saw a young Akeno and fell in love. She became mortal and went to Crane lands so she could find the Crab and marry him. [1]
"A fox should not marry a mortal. It cannot end well, but I could not deny my feelings."
