Hiasobi was the Rokugani term for those who were playing with fire, or playing with love. The Hiasobi family was named after the term, in honor of their profession, practitioners of Kagaku, the art of fire, which led to tragedy to Asahina Maryoku and Asahina Hiyako, parents of the first Hiasobi Daimyo, Hiasobi Hiya.
