The Gong of the Righteous Emperor was presented to Toturi III by Hida Kisada after the fall of Iuchiban in 1166. The Gong's origins are unknown, but two possible origins involve Kisada creating it with his powers as a Fortune, or Kisada bringing it back with him from Yomi. Physically, the Gong of the Righteous Emperor is made of gold and lacquered wood, emblazoned with the Imperial mon and complete with a wooden striker. It is supernaturally heavy and requires a cart and four strong men for travel. (Four Winds, p. 184)
