Fu was the fourth coin of Rokugan, unknown to most samurai, as it was used only by heimin. Its value was equal to a single day's rice, a hot kettle of noodles, two bowls of noodle soup, or a single drink of sochu. Minted of poor quality iron by local lords, these coins were only of use within a specific local area and were not recognized in neighboring territories. In general a copper Zeni could be traded for ten Fu. [1]
