Yoritomo Hama
Yoritomo Hama was a bushi and corrupted magistrate of the Mantis Clan.
Imperial Court[]
Hama was a Mantis representative at the Imperial Court in Toshi Ranbo during the reign of the Empress Iweko I. [1]
Dark Naga[]
In 1198 the Imperial Chancellor announced to the court that the Imperial Governor of the Colonies Ikoma Katsuru had been killed in the Second City by a Dark Naga which infiltrated in his chambers. Iweko appointed Otomo Suikihime as his succesor. His agent Moshi Madoka collected information about the Otomo, who would be passed to his Lord Yoritomo Hiromi. [1]
Broken Wave City[]
Hama was appointed as one of the ranking magistrates in Broken Wave City. In 1198 during the absence of the city's governor, he met Asako Izuna, the Amethyst Champion. She told that the artisan Yoritomo Toritsuko had begun a love affair with a Crane men, promised to the Otomo family. Izuna saw herself as the represent of the interest of the Imperial families in those courts where the Imperial families cannot be present, so she suggested that Toritsuko was responsible for leaking information to pirates, in order for the Mantis to take care of the situation. The situation was seen by Hama distasteful, but manageable, and he knew it would result in the execution of Toritsuko for treason. [2]

Tae-Hyun apprehends Hama
During the Age of Madness many incidents happeneded, influenced by the influx of the mad dragon P'an Ku. In 1199 Shinjo Tae-Hyun had suspicion that Hama had performed numerous criminal activities and apprehended him. The Mantis had in his possession documents that seemed to indicate he was affiliated in some way with Matsu Yoshito, a villain who had recently killed Utaku Sung-Ki. Hama had passed on information concerning Sung-Ki's whereabouts to the Lion. [3]
