Training Grounds
A Training Ground was a large expanse of land set aside by a clan for practicing large-scale military maneuvers. Cities with nearby training grounds tended to be large, with extensive barracks and recreational holdings (sake houses, geisha houses, ...) to accommodate the soldiers. [1]
