Genshuo was a ronin who was tattooed and joined the Dragon Clan as Togashi Genshuo.
Early Years[]
Genshuo was son to poor ronin who lived in Lost Samurai Village. Eventually, Togashi Hoshi visited the village and spoke with him. The Dragon Clan Champion requested his parents to take Genshuo back to Kyuden Togashi and teach him, who readily accepted. [1]
Tattooed Monk[]
Genshuo received a mystical tattoo from his lord, and was adopted into the Togashi order as Togashi Genshuo, despite he did not choose to study the Tao. His parents were killed when the volcano, Wrath of the Kami, erupted, destroying the village, and it was also the starting point of the War with the Phoenix. Genshuo fought in several battles, including the Battle of Ki-Rin's Shrine, where he met the General Mirumoto Junnosuke. Before the end of the war, Genshuo disappeared. [1]
Death[]
Genshuo spent several years as a wanderer, visiting small villages and shrines. After the Rain of Blood and the Third Rising of Iuchiban, Genshuo helped investigate and combat the scourge of the bloodspeaker cult. He eventually was murdered by Iuchi Ryoi in Kaeru Toshi, to whom he had shared his discovery of a cultist cell in the city, unaware that Ryoi was secretly a part of the cell himself. [1]
