The Mikado
The Mikado was a restaurant made of the finest material available at Rokugan, and employed the finest cooks and staff. It was special because the whole building could be dissasembled, packed up, and moved to a new location.

Aotora Minowa was a successful business man, who made profit of several teashops and chain of teahouses and inns throughout Ryoko Owari. The Mikado was the peak of his economic empire. [1]

In 1169 in the Month of the Dog the Mikado sat on the Plains of Thunder, where the Jade Championship was held. Before the tournament ended Seppun Shogo was found murdered there. [2]
Celestial Tournament[]
The Mikado was present at Seppun Hill during the Celestial Tournament in 1170. [3]
War of Dark Fire[]
In 1171 the Mikado hurried to leave Toi Koku when news that the yobanjin Army of Fire were approaching. The owner was assisted by the Crane and agreed to a three month engagement in the Doji provinces. [4]
