Shosuro Nikai of House Kochako was a ninja of the Scorpion Clan, and the Kochako Daimyo. After they became part of the Soshi family he was Soshi Nikai of House Kochako.
Daimyo[]

Shadowed Tower[]
During the Shadowed Tower conspiracy many members of the Kochako joined their ranks. When the Tower organization was exposed and destroyed as traitors, the Kochako family lose his credit. Their duty was to destroy the traitors to the Scorpion Clan, and they had failed. [1]
House of Summer Breeze[]
As a cover-up Nikai for his family's activities he tended the House of Summer Breeze, a sake house at Kyuden Bayushi. [1]
Shifting to Soshi family[]
In 1170 Soshi Uidori, through intermediate of the Kuroiban, had found a record of the lineage of the Kochako family and the list of men they have quietly murdered over the centuries. Seeing the potential of this family, she decided, with the permission of Bayushi Paneki, to combine the Soshi information networks to the Kochako killing skills to improve the assassin's network. The Scorpion Clan Champion Bayushi Paneki agreed to transfer the control of the family from the Shosuro to the Soshi family. Nikai was told of it personally by Uidori and he willingly accepted. [1]
