Shinjo Katsuo was a bushi and commander of the Unicorn Clan.

Katsuo saw as a slight to honor the broken betrothal of the Dragon Clan Champion with his Lady, the Living Godess Moto Naleesh. Katsuo knew it was unlikely he would have a chance to kill Mirumoto Shikei, so the bushi challenged the first Dragon he crossed, Mirumoto Michi. In the first try Katsuo was wounded by the duelist. [1] The outcome was not known.
