Moto Tadasu was a commander and zealot of the Unicorn Clan. His hatamoto was Moto Chizura. [1]

Family[]

Tadasu was the youngest son of Moto Chagatai and Moto Rumiko. He wished to carve his own destiny, to be forever remembered among the Unicorn Clan's greatest generals, and to be honored becoming Moto Naleesh's Hatamoto. [2]

Khol[]

In 1200 Tadasu was Shireikan of the Khol, with Moto Kyung-won as his right-hand man, and Moto Chizura as his advisor. Tadasu led an army which invaded the Phoenix lands in retribution for a Phoenix insult, a supposed spiritual threat within the Moto family, the Moto Curse. They retreated to the Treacherous Pass, seized Orange Flame Village which gave them control of the area, and received reinforcements from Kintani Valley. Tadasu was warned by Iuchi Karuri that the Moto Curse had reached him, but he rejected to relinquish command. After a failed parley with Shiba Kakei both armies clashed the next day in the Battle of Treacherous Pass, and the misfortune chased Tadasu, who eventually lost a duel to first blood with the enemy general, Shiba Kakei. The Master of Water Asako Miyabi healed the grievous wounds suffered by Tadasu, showing that the Phoenix wished to heal Unicorn wounds. The Unicorn Clan Champion Moto Naleesh appeared on the battlefield to accept the terms for peace issued by the Master of Fire Isawa Koiso: no Moto might marry out of their Clan without approval from the Phoenix, so only the Phoenix might officiate Unicorn marriages henceforth, and they accepted a massive scroll with a way to defeat the Moto Curse, a way of living that might free the Moto of their karma.
