Moshi Sasako
Moshi Sasako was a thunder shugenja of the Mantis Clan.
Colonies[]
During the Age of Conquest Sasako moved to the Colonies, taking residence in one of the ruins claimed by her clan, a former library. In 1198 she hosted the Master of Water Asako Chukage. [1] Shortly after Sasako went missing, and none were certain what might have befallen her. [2] Chukage bid her take the secrets and run, talking as if he would forget he had even said such a thing. He had told her of the impending Siege of the Second City and that kin would kill their clanmates in the conflict. The forewarning became true. [3] [4]
P'an Ku's Madness[]
In 1199 officers at Journey's End Keep received word that the Second City was being overrun by riots and some manner of madmen. For the safety of this region, it was decided nearby farmers and any nearby samurai would be recalled to the fortified area until further notice. Sasako's journey to the Empire was halted there, and she believed it was too late to advise about P'an Ku's madness. [5] Sasako was confined there, and she did not manage to explain the threat of the Fallen to the skeptical Keep's commander, Seppun Barru. [6] Unfortunately for him, the city was lost, taken from within and then the gates of the stronghold were opened to the maddned horde outside. [7]
