Moshi Madohime was a scout and Thunder shugenja of the Mantis Clan.
A Brother's Destiny[]
Madohime ordered Tsuruchi Rin, one of the clan's foremost Bounty Hunters, to join the forces gathered by Iweko Seiken, the Imperial Heir, who was preparing his departure from the Empire for the Colonies. [1]
Questioning the Scorpion[]
In 1200 Madohime was sent to Kyuden Bayushi, where she accused the Scorpion Clan Champion as responsible for the desecration of the Shrine to Yoritomo. The shrine had been corrupted by Shadowlands forces shortly after Mantis defenders had confronted a Scorpion assault. Nitoshi denied the implication of his clan, and as a show of good faith he placed a legion of the Dark Sword of Bitter Lies under the direct command of the Mantis Clan Champion Yoritomo Hiromi. [2]
Rise of Jigoku[]
This year her second cousin disappeared, and Madohime found that the event was related to the location of the Third Seal of Jigoku. Eventually she met Tsuruchi Kaito at Gotei Island, who had been trusted to find why students from the island's finest dojos had been disappearing on the beaches. During the investigation Kaito found and took a pearl with sticky strands on the beach, being dragged into the sea. He managed to kill the kumo which had planted the pearl, while Madohime was wounded in the fight. Shortly after the island was invaded by Shadowlands creatures, who destroyed the Third Seal. [3]
Death[]
During the Battle of the Third Seal the Mantis Clan was overrun by a demonic horde, and Madohime died in the fight. [3]
